Donations

As the Port of Split Authority is subject to fiscal responsibility (Zakon o fiskalnoj odgovornosti (Fiscal Responsibility Act), Official Gazette 139/10, 19/14), as a non-profit organisation owned by the Republic of Croatia it is responsible for the purposeful management and use of financial resources with the care of a prudent businessperson, and for operating solely within the scope of its activities. It therefore cannot make donations for purposes unrelated to the activities of port authorities, as laid down in the Zakon o pomorskom dobru i morskim lukama (Maritime Domain and Seaports Act) and in the business activities registered with the Commercial Court in Split.
