The Port of Split Authority manages, builds and develops the Port of Split — the largest passenger port in Croatia and one of the busiest ports in the Adriatic.
Since its foundation, the Port of Split Authority has continuously invested in port infrastructure, with the aim of providing excellent conditions and services in passenger traffic and increasing the competitiveness of the cargo port and freight traffic.
The natural position and size of the Port of Split enabled its rapid development, and it has become a port of special international economic interest to the Republic of Croatia.
Thanks to its strategic position in the Mediterranean (between Venice and the ports of the Aegean Sea), Split is also one of the most important ports of call for cruise ships in the Adriatic, and its long history and many landmarks attract thousands of tourists.
